Business Process Systems Consultant, Sr. jobs in Cheyenne, WY

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

This position is responsible for managing individuals (various teams) and projects for the analysis / improvement of existing efforts and for developing new business systems. Being a Business Systems Analysis Manager builds test plans and data. Coordinates with other Trego / Dugan Aviation Departments and teams to identify and implement new systems to support business functions economically.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Allocates analysis resources and monitors deliverables to ensure needs are met successfully and on time.
• Manages department / project milestones and goals are met, including adhering to approved budgets.
• Collect and analyze large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor key safety and performance metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and those with different technological skill sets.
• Develop redundancy and succession protocols for systems, data, workflow, and information / operational stability.
• Maintain and improve monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize efficiency and data quality.
• Identify and recommend new data collection sources and data analysis tools.
• Support ad hoc data analysis requests as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Extensive experience managing business system budgets and project outcomes.
• Ability to coach others in best practices, performance analytics, data recovery, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard development (Power BI, Google Analytics)
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design and construction.
• Knowledge or experience with data science languages such as MQL, R or Java is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related field

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up-to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be available by phone / text / email during normal business hours.
