Develops strategies or infrastructure level recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency and practices of the organization's business systems. Being a Business Process Systems Consultant, Sr. simulates and tests process improvements. Communicates changes and may provide training to impacted business units. Additionally, Business Process Systems Consultant, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. Business Process Systems Consultant, Sr. is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. Compensation Minimum:$84,000 / year
Compensation Maximum:$139,000 / year
Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.
Primary Accountabilities
You will use line of business and business system expertise including business rule and process knowledge to provide leadership for the most complex business application systems projects.
Work with technology area to identify technology opportunities and share the business strategy.
Lead brainstorming, conceptualization, prioritization, and initiation for future system use and enhancements.
Work with technology area to clarify requirements where needed and help develop the test strategy and plan for complex projects.
Research complex system issues and coordinates resolution.
Evaluate business system application developments and technologies within the insurance industry and business markets that are relevant to the business and future business strategy.
You will focus on claims financial transactions, including digital payments.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Demonstrated experience providing customer-focused solutions and service.
Demonstrated experience leading and delivering technical process automation projects.
Demonstrated advanced proficiency with relevant programming languages, (languages may vary by division or department).
Demonstrated advanced proficiency with data extraction from relational databases and big data repositories (technologies may vary by division or department).
Demonstrated advanced proficiency with business intelligence and collaboration software.
Experience with claims financial payments.
Travel Requirements
Up to 10%.
You are required to be in or around Madison, WI. You will be in a hybrid role that involves working 10 days per month in the office.
