Salary: $ 130-160K plus bonus

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Quality Director to lead our Quality Assurance initiatives and processes. This pivotal role involves overseeing the Quality department, conducting in-depth data analysis, and managing reporting to uphold our commitment to excellence. As the Quality Director, you will spearhead the integration of Quality Management Systems, adhere to ISO9001/IATF16949 Standards, and oversee audits, certifications, and document control.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead initiatives to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and achieve Quality Objectives.

2. Manage all quality audits (internal, customer, supplier, and 3rd party) to ensure compliance and maintain certifications.

3. Maintain Lead Auditor certification, develop procedures, conduct Internal Audits, and ensure ISO9001/IATF16949 certification.

4. Support Quality Manager in overseeing critical Quality processes to ensure customer satisfaction.

5. Possess a deep understanding of products and processes to effectively address customer issues.

6. Collaborate with Quality Engineer on design teams to ensure quality in product development.

7. Manage material review and disposition processes to prevent shipment of defective products.

8. Prepare accurate quality reports for management analysis and review.

9. Provide leadership and vision for all quality activities to ensure efficient production of high-quality products.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quality Manager or equivalent.

- Black Belt or Master Black Belt Certification with at least 2 years of active Belt experience.

- 5 years of experience as Lead Auditor for ISO9001 and IATF16949 Standards.

- Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence certification preferred.
