Role: Power Systems & Applications Manager/Director
Location: Bethlehem, PA/Onsite (Relocation assistance will be provided)

Minimum Qualifications:

· Proven history of technical accomplishment, leadership, planning & coordinating, and executing on multiple projects simultaneously.

· Proven experience working with a technical team in a product development environment.

· 10 Years minimum experience in Apps/Design engineering for Power Applications

o AC-to-DC and/or DC-to-DC converter design

o Detailed circuit design, not "cookbook" usage of reference designs

o Proficient in power semiconductor characteristics

o Diodes, MOSFETs, IGBTs, and Power ICs

o Proficient in End to End Power conversion Applications

· BSEE, MSEE preferred, or equivalent years of experience

· Use of Simulation or Analytical tools of power-switching circuits

Management/Organizational Skills:

Good communication skills. Practice a disciplined approach to problem solving. Able to make timely intelligent decisions regarding the execution of multiple parallel projects. Able to develop and execute plans with limited resources. Able to make prompt intelligent decisions based on business priorities. Able to lead, motivate and manage achieving results through others. Challenge and enable others to act. Translate learning to checklists, tutorials, automation, documents, and other fan-out means that increase team productivity.

Team and People Skills:

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience/Skills:

· 5 to 10 Years minimum experience in Apps/Design engineering

o DC-to-DC converter design

§ Detailed circuit design, not "cookbook" usage of reference designs

o Proficient in MOSFET & Driver IC characteristics

o Proficient in VRM/VRD and Multi-phase Applications

· BSEE, MSEE preferred, or equivalent years of experience

· Spice simulation of power switching circuits

· Excel or MathCad simulation of power supply efficiency and losses

· Schematic capture and printed circuit layout with CAD tools

· Component selection for optimized cost verses performance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
