Business Systems Analysis Director directs all aspects of an organization's business systems. Plans and implements technological service strategies within a shared services environment to support business and user needs. Being a Business Systems Analysis Director acts as major liaison with other departments to identify the business system meets the enterprise's needs. We are currently hiring for a IT Business Systems Analyst.
The IT Business Systems Analyst will oversee the daily operation of core and ancillary systems along with developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions that are critical to the success and growth of the credit union. This position will assist functional department areas in identifying gaps and inefficiency, researching solutions and tools, and developing recommendations to address both immediate and long-term needs. This position relies on experience and judgment to accomplish this job and works under general supervision. Creativity, analytical, and technical expertise are expected to complete the responsibilities of this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: includes the following, but other duties may be assigned.
1. Develop, implement, test, and support solutions and systems that align with the objectives and strategic goals of the credit union.
2. Develop recommendations regarding test plans related to releases, integrations, or configuration changes.
3. Setup, execute, and maintain configuration tables, parameters, customizations, jobs, extracts, and reports pertaining to core and ancillary systems while adhering to change management process.
4. Perform system administration duties related to onboarding of new employees, system access adjustment, and performing testing of system and parameter changes.
5. Complete tasks and milestones that are listed under the corporate project plan.
6. Proactively monitor system alerts and resolve them in a timely fashion.
7. Proactively monitor releases or system changes to identify new functionality or impact to critical business functions or processes.
8. Proactively review and update procedures, manuals, workflows, and specifications.
9. Proactively review existing or new regulation changes and ensure all systems comply.
10. Proactively review requirements regarding processing and transmission of notices, statements, and yearly tax forms to ensure compliance.
11. Communicate and work closely with IT resources, stakeholders, and third-party vendors in resolving systems issues, scheduling automation tasks, developing and implementing system enhancements, and coordinating setup of new vendor connections and integrations.
12. Maintain test management system to ensure test cases are updated periodically by functional department areas.
13. Coordinate testing of system releases and changes with stakeholders and subject matter experts of the credit union.
14. Respond to work orders and critical issues that are reported or escalated by staff members and vendors via ticket or phone queue system.
15. Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and routine tasks assigned upon request.
16. Understand compliance issues and attend training as they relate to credit union services including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act, Reg P and Patriot Act.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Computer Science or Information Systems from four-year College or university; or three to five years core system experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
