Business Systems Analysis Director jobs in Detroit, MI
Business Systems Analysis Director directs all aspects of an organization's business systems. Plans and implements technological service strategies within a shared services environment to support business and user needs. Being a Business Systems Analysis Director acts as major liaison with other departments to identify the business system meets the enterprise's needs. Analyzes trends and uses complex data modeling to improve business performance. Additionally, Business Systems Analysis Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Systems Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Business Systems Analysis Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Critical Business Analysis has an immediate need for a contract Renewable Energy Construction Estimator in the Detroit, MI area with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Estimating. Previous experience in estimating owner side resource needs, indirect costs, and large project formats is a requirement. This is a contract position for a minimum of one year and work will be conducted on a hybrid model with regular visits to the Detroit office. Estimator will work directly with Engineering, Design, Supply Chain, and Controllers.

Requirements
- Home location that is driving
distance to the Southeast, MI. project locations is required.
- Minimum 5 - 10 years’ estimating
experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in
Construction Management, Engineering, or commensurate experience.
Duties & Responsibilities- Support multiple
infrastructure renewable energy projects developing estimates, updating
cost forecast, and tracking estimate at completion.
- Negotiate commercial
terms for construction contracts.
- Leads, develops and
provides analysis of project estimates/schedules.
- Ensures the
credibility of the information contained in the estimate.
- Perform estimates on
change orders/new projects and execute contracts.
- Lead value engineering
sessions & manage the meeting process with optimal results.
- Provides direct
support and expertise to project personnel and estimators/schedulers regarding
estimating and/or planning.
- Provides expertise to
develop methodologies, techniques and tools, software, standards and guidelines
for estimating and/or planning/scheduling; expert knowledge in application of
estimating/scheduling software and application of the software.
- Supports the project
teams and estimating/scheduling personnel efforts towards the development of
the project plan and translating that project plan into the project
estimate/schedule.
- Assists with the
preparation of project time and/or cost claims.
- Ensures that required
project estimating and/or planning/scheduling controls are appropriately
implemented and maintained.
- Home location that is driving
distance to the Southeast, MI. project locations is required.
