IT Business Systems Analyst

Summary:

MACOM is looking for an entry to mid level system analyst to join the IT application service team. The position will be part of a team managing and supporting the Product Life Cycle (PLM) system at MACOM.

The PLM process and system play a crucial role in our business as they support the entire product lifecycle of all our products. This area involves various business functions, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to grow with the company, collaborate with multiple business users, and contribute significantly.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of technical experience in Product Life Management (PLM) systems or similar IT/business systems
• Proficiency in configuration, customization, and integration of IT or business systems
• Knowledge of PLM process and/or Agile PLM system is a big plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related IT field
• Due to ITAR regulations, candidate must be a US person

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes. 
• Participate in business process/department/functional group activities regularly to understand business needs and challenges and facilitate improvements on the PLM system.
• Collaborate with business users on configuration, implementation, and upgrade of PLM system to obtain performance needs.
• Provide technical support, and assistance to business user issues, for PLM aligned to support SLAs.
• Support the creation and maintenance of documentation (use/functional/design requirements, best practices, change requests, code documentation)
• Provide training on new/existing functionality to key business users, as well as end users.
• Monitor the performance of the Engineering Change process.
• Define standards for Product and Bill of Material definition.
• Generate reports, analyze data, and present conclusions that give the team visibility on product releases, change statuses, and effective dates.
