Business Systems Analysis Director directs all aspects of an organization's business systems. Plans and implements technological service strategies within a shared services environment to support business and user needs. Being a Business Systems Analysis Director acts as major liaison with other departments to identify the business system meets the enterprise's needs. Analyzes trends and uses complex data modeling to improve business performance. Additionally, Business Systems Analysis Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Systems Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Business Systems Analysis Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     The Director of Business Development will be responsible for the planning and direction of all aspects of business development, and expansion activities for the respective assigned markets and products. Actively seeks business development opportunities with strategic partners that improve growth opportunities utilizing strategic partnership and alignment opportunities. Provides leadership in the development and expansion of new products that meet market needs and works closely with the leadership and product development team to introduce and implement these new products. Works closely with the President, Chief Executive Officer and leadership team regarding market expansion efforts, sales strategies, and the development of distribution systems that support the company’s overall business development plan, mission and vision.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Identifies and develops new business opportunities.
    • Builds relationships with customers, supplies, distributers, partners, and vendors.
    • Evaluates existing partnerships and sales efforts with a focus on what works and changing what doesn’t.
    • Manages key client relationships and works to build new ones.
    • Expands the profile and reach of the company and its brands.
    • Leads sales, marketing, customer service, and client relationship management teams.
    • Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased market share.
    • Builds cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth.
    • Tracks emerging markets and trends.
    • Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.
    • Identifies and recommends new services.
    • Proposes and develops strategic partnerships.
    • Helps to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
    • Provides advice on product development and distribution and promotion strategies.
    • Identifies sponsorship opportunities, including nonprofit engagement.
    • Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts.
    • Travels to vendor locations, distribution centers, and other locations.
    • Fulfills requests for proposals from potential partners and customers.
    • Helps direct development of customer-facing web platforms and digital experiences.

    Experience and Education

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, MBA is plus
    • 5-10 years of sales or marketing experience

    Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures

    Skill in the use of standard office equipment and software

    Ability to implement new systems and procedures and to evaluate their effectiveness, to communicate effectively, to effectively interpret programs and plans, to train others, and to supervise the work of others.
