Business Systems Analysis Director directs all aspects of an organization's business systems. As a Business Analysis Advisor within PNC's Finance/Control organization, you can sit in Pittsburgh PA, or Cleveland OH.

    This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.

    As a member of the Corporate Controller’s Implementation Team (CCIT), you will be joining a successful and growing finance department. You will be part of a dynamic team of individuals striving to deliver new financial solutions, systems, and processes to ensure compliance and accurate results. Our team focuses on large scale, complex Finance initiatives that generally include a technology component. The fast pace, always changing environment gives opportunities for professional growth.

    This role will support the development and implementation of various initiatives throughout Finance and within the Corporate Controller’s Office.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Monitor and aggregate the operational documentation from each module lead
    • Work with Training Lead and PNCU to create End User Training
    • Perform analysis and create mapping documents between current state access role and future state access roles
    • Assist Project Leads with monitoring Implementation Command Center
    • Support the testing strategy, execution, and manage defect resolution during Mock/UAT
    • Assist Project Leads with Readiness review and administrative project requirements
    • Evaluate and recommend alternative solutions with respect to assigned tasks and related analyses


    This role provides the opportunity to gain knowledge of data, processes, and requirements throughout Finance at PNC. You will play a key role in cross functional projects. Interacting with various teams across Control and Finance, you will build strong leadership, collaboration, teamwork, accounting, analytical, and communication skills.     Job Description

    • Directs the research, discovery, collection and interpretation of business requirements. Participates in the development and review of complex processes and procedures, workflow analytics and reporting. May provide senior level consultation and communicates with clients and technology teams on business designs, problem solving and business analysis to support project goals and objectives.
    • Consults and recommends the frameworks, methodologies and processes involved in business requirements traceability for business analysis teams. Independently mentors, leads, and coaches other associates to affect knowledge transfer. Oversees the development and maintenance of all applicable policy and procedure documentation.
    • Translates business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs. May communicate with senior level stakeholders and technology teams on  complex business requirements.
    • Leads multiple business analysis project management processes through planning, quality assurance and effectiveness assessment. Provides direction for the successful deployment of projects. Drives the development, analysis and distribution of complex reporting.

    Software Product Business Knowledge – Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; knowledge of the install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.

    Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3 years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
