This role will lead the development of FP&A capabilities that deliver sustainable growth plans and performance for the company. As a trusted business partner, this leader will work closely with our business teams to provide a broad range of nancial guidance, process leadership, reporting development, and strategic analyses. As an empowering leader, this person will build strong teams and future leaders of our organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • This leader will be instrumental in guiding financial decision-making processes that deliver sustainable, profitable growth with emphasis on performance management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategy development in partnership with the business.
    • Lead key planning processes working closely with department heads to align financial goals with our strategic vision: long-range planning, annual plans, and as needed estimates.
    • Develop performance management strategies to track, analyze, and evaluate key financial and operational metrics against stated goals.
    • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative approaches to FP&A including the adoption of systems that make financial processes more efficient and effective.
    • Lead development of insightful decision-support tools, processes, and reporting; including product and channel profitability, pricing and promotional analytics, return on investment, productivity development, and capacity and capital decision models
    • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with teams across the organization to drive performance and mitigate risk
    • Coordinate management and board reporting
    • Aid in crafting the company's strategic financial direction through data-driven insights

    • Lead the Nordic FP&A organization, create an inspiring department vision, and develop future leaders of Nordic Naturals
    • Recruit and train inclusive and diverse team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and growth
    • Partner with and influence cross-functional teams, and business leaders. Cultivate trusted advisor status with business leaders.
    • Communicate complex information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to drive action
    • Pragmatic approach with the ability to adapt and operate with ambiguous direction and guide the team through evolving priorities
    • Passionate ability to turn data into insights and foresight that drive actionable value accretion. Leverages external data where possible to improve quality and completeness of insights.
    • Willingness and ability to seamlessly move from broad strategic to hands-on support.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred). 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A.
    • Experience in Packaged Good industry, and/or product manufacturing
    • Excellent nancial modeling skills, including integrated long-range planning
    • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, preferably experience developing capabilities around product and channel financial data standards, planning tools, and automated reporting
    • Experience with manufacturing and supply chain cost accounting, and activity-based financial fundamentals


    Pay, Benefits & Perks:

    The estimated annual pay for this role is $180,000 to $200,000. This pay is an estimate and the exact compensation may vary depending on an applicant's location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may also include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission) if applicable.
