Analyzes trends and uses complex data modeling to improve business performance. Additionally, Business Systems Analysis Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Systems Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Business Systems Analysis Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     As Assistant Director for Assignments and Data Analysis, you'll be accountable for managing application- and assignments-related processes for the nearly 7,000 undergraduate on-campus residents of thirty-two unique residence halls, as well as collecting and reporting key occupancy and assessment metrics to University leadership. In this role, attention to detail, close collaboration with hall staff, a high level of confidentiality, and regular communication will be critical.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Managing on-campus application, assignment, and billing processes for nearly 7,000 undergraduate residents in close collaboration with Rectors and the rest of the Hall Staff teams.
    • Supervising one full-time staff member, the Program Coordinator for Assignments, who assists in the day-to-day management of housing occupancy and assignments.
    • Serve as a power user for the StarRez housing management system at Notre Dame.
    • Collaborating with campus stakeholders such as Sara Bea Accessibility Services, Athletics, Notre Dame International, and Admissions to provide an efficient and friendly service to students.
    • Assessing and reporting on residential data in service to Residential Life and University goals and projects, such residential master planning, facility renovation, and new construction.
    • Participating in a housing operations on-call rotation approximately every five weeks (limited to emergency housing support and student rooms searches)



    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Masters degree, ideally in higher education, student affairs, or related field
    • 3-4 years experience in residential life, student support, or related experience
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to work across departments and throughout the University, developing and maintaining relationships.
    • Competent with technology (MS Office and Google Suite) and ability to learn new systems
    • Commitment to supporting the mission of a Catholic university founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross



    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Proficiency with StarRez residential management system is strongly preferred
