Business Systems Analysis Director directs all aspects of an organization's business systems. Plans and implements technological service strategies within a shared services environment to support business and user needs. Being a Business Systems Analysis Director acts as major liaison with other departments to identify the business system meets the enterprise's needs. Analyzes trends and uses complex data modeling to improve business performance. Additionally, Business Systems Analysis Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Systems Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Business Systems Analysis Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. data within the Admissions CRM (Slate), which is utilized by all Admissions
offices across the University, and provide systems and operations support for
Enrollment Management. This position has responsibility for assisting with the
building of applications, forms, reports, queries, communication plans, bin
structures, user permissions, and configurations necessary to enhance and
maintain the CRM, at the direction of the Senior Associate Director of Business
Systems. This includes developing and executing technological solutions and
strategies, workflow changes, business process improvements, and training
development and delivery. This also includes utilizing the system in order to
provide data and information requested by individuals across the University,
performing analysis of the data as needed, and developing and providing
reporting. This position may include responsibility as a Slate Captain. This
position requires proficiency in the University student information system, the
Admissions CRM system, and other systems used by Enrollment Management as
needed. This position has responsibility for assisting with Operations
functions, as assigned by the Senior Associate Director of Business Systems.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of project management and experience in
requirement writing, testing, data analytics, and technical systems experience.
