B/E Aerospace, Inc. d/b/a Collins Aerospace has an opening for a Principal Specialist, Business Systems and Transformation in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This is a hybrid position that requires working onsite at least 2 days per week and allows working remotely up to 3 days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting, maintaining, and developing JD Edwards World ERP objects using JD Edwards (JDE) World toolset.

Responsible for master data extracts and load into ERP systems like JD Edwards World and JD Edwards Enterprise One.

Responsible for the associated Digital Technology (DT) activities and tasks in its tools, structures, systems, and processes such as, e-mail, ticketing system, SAP, JDE World, standard work, and business process automation.

Work to select, implement, develop, maintain, and support business systems and DT applications through understanding of the business processes and their implications, then applying process improvement concepts for simplification and productivity to support business goals and objectives.

Manage internal and external stakeholders. Align digital services, service levels, technology, management, and initiatives with business strategies and needs.

Represent the business in Enterprise wide and/or corporate initiatives.

Responsible for alignment of business systems through technology selection, development, programming, configuring, and testing of both new applications and legacy systems, which requires knowledge of business processes, systems architecture, development processes for improved design, as well as understanding of systems integration for applications.

Identify and analyze the routine to moderately complex requirements of a business unit or department that can be fulfilled through various DT systems.

Precisely address ticket management using Service Now, MS Office products for JDE World issues.

Analyze current business and technical processes for an assigned area to determine where system updates or new systems are needed.

Configure the JDE World system and / or update its supporting master data with mass update tools.

Coordinate with Business and DT Teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, and reporting outputs.

Entails detailed specifications for enhancements to fulfil requirements, then execution of Users acceptance with system testing and establishment of system techniques and controls (standard work and data governance guidelines).
Required Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and at least 8 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related position in software development across various modules including Sales & Distribution, Inventory and Finance. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and at least 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related position in software development across various modules including Sales & Distribution, Inventory and Finance would be acceptable.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
