Business Systems Analysis Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the analysis of new business system development and existing system improvement. Allocates analysis team resources and monitors deliverables to ensure client needs are met successfully and in a timely fashion. Being a Business Systems Analysis Manager builds test plans and data.     Key Job Responsibilities:

    REQUIRED:

    • Senior level systems analysis and design skills
    • Senior level RPG development skills in RPG, RPG III
    • Strong knowledge of OS 400 operating systems and CL job control language
    • Analyze all current database structure to facilitate data migration and integration initiatives
    • Ability to design relational databases and database / record structures in DB2 and other required functions such as creating database logicals and indexes
    • Ability to work effectively with end-users and internal and external customers to gather requirements and translate into technical specs and code development
    • Ability to document requirements, test cases and work with team members to test developed functionality before turning to end-users for UAT
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Competent is use of MS Office productivity suite (email, Excel, Word)
    • Strong work ethic with willingness to work extra hours to meet deadlines as authorized
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as an effective team member in accomplishing assignments.

    • Thorough understanding of business processes and a firm grasp of business software capabilities and Software Development Life Cycle methodology.

    • Excellent critical thinking and analysis skill set within an enterprise environment.
    • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

    Education and Work History:

    • A Bachelor's degree from a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Equivalent work experience may also be considered.
    • 6 years Business Systems experience, 6 years involvement with IT design and development methodologies (SDLC), e.g., Waterfall, Agile)
    • 6 years developing and documenting business requirements and specifications.
