The Business Analysis Manager is responsible for the ongoing development and refinement of metric modeling within the Specialty Products Group’s profit and cost centers. Centered on strong analytic evaluation and data driven decision making, this position requires a focused, self-motivated professional to understand business and manufacturing models in order to build a scalable, sustainable, innovative analysis platform to support strategic evolution.
. Essential Responsibilities:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (BA) in any of the areas like, Accounting, Business and Information Technologies from four-year college or university; and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, OTHER:
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with advanced mathematical and financial concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plans and solid geometry and trigonometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER: Strong analytical and problem solving mindset. Ability to collaborate with a multi-department team. Also helpful to have experience manipulating large databases. Models Systems and data to a logical level, user interface design, prototyping, decision tables/trees, data flows. Detail oriented and committed to a high level of accuracy. Organizational skills. Knowledge of technology system interfaces and data integration; networks, operating systems.
