    The Role

    The Small and Business Banking Sales Executive for Consumer, Small and Business Banking (CSBB) is responsible for driving sales across the bank specific to continuing its growth and focus on small business and business clients. This role will lead a sales team dedicated to serving the needs of small and business banking clients, with a mix of standardized offerings available through digital and branch channels as well as more customized banking solutions for the business banking clients with more sophisticated lending and/or treasury needs.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Responsible for day-to-day leadership of our Small and Business Banking Sales organization
    • Define, develop, and lead through the execution of sales strategy & tactics adherence
    • Lead the sales engagement model plan & execution including field standards inclusive of overall performance and interaction model with the branch network
    • Accountable for the overall productivity strategy approach, execution plan and performance metrics
    • Responsible for the coverage model and gearing optimization strategy and execution planning
    • Drive growth outcomes for the overall Small & Business Banking segment, inclusive of growth with banking, merchant, card, lines and loans, etc

    The Candidate

    This leader must be an exceptional leader and will be recognized for accomplishments related to hiring, retaining, and developing a world-class staff.  Successful candidates will be articulate and possess a demonstrated leadership capability and will have strong interpersonal effectiveness.  They must have strong understanding of business drivers and processes and be an effective influencer that has credibility with business leaders and able to offer credible challenge as needed.  Leadership, relationship management, and credibility will be determining factors in selection. 

    Required Qualifications:

    • 8 years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    • 4 years of management experience

    Additional Desired Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in leading a large-scale sales organization
    • Deep understanding of Small and/or Business Banking and Lending
    • Effective process management across portfolio of initiatives
    • Leveraging financial and data analysis to drive results
    • Operational risk management and issue resolution
    • Ability to achieve results in a high complexity environment
    • Executive level communications
    • A history of improving customer experience
