Business Systems Executive (Banking) directs a banking and financial services organization's strategic and long-range goal-planning function. Develops strategic plans and optimization initiatives that support growth and profitability goals. Being a Business Systems Executive (Banking) analyzes emerging industry trends, economic conditions, new technologies, consumer behavior, merger and acquisition opportunities, and competitive threats. Utilizes data-driven monitoring and analysis of business performance to recommend technological enhancements, process improvement measures, and new products. Additionally, Business Systems Executive (Banking) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Systems Executive (Banking) manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Business Systems Executive (Banking) typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Account Executive will sell multi-million dollar energy optimization projects in a designated territory by identifying, assessing and structuring technical and financial solutions for customers such as municipalities and public K-12 schools. The Account Executive will require a strong technical background and the communication/business skills to translate customer needs into a strategic approach for our development and implementation teams.

    Open to flexible work schedules working fully remote or hybrid but must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Looking for someone to be in New York, New England, Virginia, or Pennsylvania.

    Our Account Executive’s contributions to the team include:

    • Identifying potential customers for design build energy efficiency, solar, battery storage and EV charging solutions in the municipality, university, hospital, and K-12 and higher education facility markets
    • Calling on aforementioned customer base and develop sales strategy to successfully close project sales
    • Working with a cross-functional team consisting of Engineering, Project Management, and Project Development team members
    • Overseeing the development and delivery of projects which promote customer service and lead to long term relationships with clients
    • Developing project technical write-ups, proposals, reports and presentations


    The core components of success are (i.e. must haves):

    • 3 years of work experience in sales and marketing for a HVAC controls contractor, mechanical contractor, energy services company or related organization
    • Experience in identifying leads, closing sales, and working with a project development team

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field
    • Past experience and an up-to-date knowledge of best practices as they relate to upgrading and reducing energy consumption in building mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-110,000 commission benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
