Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Procurement Buyer I opportunity for our customer in Carlsbad, NM for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP).

Position Description:

Support Small Business Program; Assist with closing purchase requisitions; Assist with processing of procurement records; and Assist with Accounts Receivable.

Duties:

• Update supplier applications.

• Obtain SAM UEI numbers from suppliers.

• Assist with processing of procurement records.

• Close purchase requisitions in the system

• Learning to reconcile smaller A/R Accounts

• Running Project Cost Queries

• Learning Quickbook system to provide assistance in creating invoices

• Update Billable Project List

General Qualifications:

This position requires some college and 1 year of related experience.
