Under general direction responsible for executing day to day allocation and replenishment process using inventory planning tools to determine the replenishment quantities to ship from vendor to DC, vendor direct, cross dock, DC to store for all ongoing SKUs.

* Procures products, materials, and services to meet inventory plan and net working capital objectives. according to established guidelines.

* Purchases specifically assigned products by contacting vendors to obtain information concerning product, price, availability, and delivery date. Executes inventory control strategies as set forth by the company, including management of inventory turns, GM/ROI by major product lines, and physical inventory requirements.

* Participates in regular reviews with facilities and other stakeholders to change and/or modify business practices and inventory planning parameters.

* Sets parameters for system to release purchase orders.

* Ensures the correct balance of inventory between distribution locations and retail locations ensure attainment of service-level goals while helping maintain inventory efficiency.

* Address customer service concerns from suppliers, Field Operations, and cross-functional departments.

* Assists operations with sourcing of specialty items, availability of products, freight/carrier information, order status, and timely processing of orders.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 – 5 year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
