We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scrap Precious Metal Buyer. As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing our scrap precious metal inventory and ensuring the availability of materials and products needed for our operations. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Source and procure materials, products, and services from approved suppliers
- Negotiate pricing with customers to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures
- Maintain accurate records of purchases in compliance with county regulations.

Skills:
- Willingness to learn our business and take ownership of the scrap medals buying process
- Experience in inventory control a plus
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from customers

Qualifications:

- Experience as a Precious Metal Buyer or in a similar procurement role a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Must be organized and with strong numeracy/mathmatical skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
