Hazelett is looking for a motivated and proficient Buyer who supports the planning, procurement, and management of goods and services related to the design and development of all products and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain/analyze purchasing data in the business system.

· Negotiate with suppliers to obtain product or service information (prices, availability, and delivery schedules).

· Prepare purchase orders and quote requests.

· Resolve supplier issues regarding discrepancies in quality, quantity, and shipping/delivery.

· Manage supplier relationships per the HSCC QMS system.

Preferred Qualifications

· Able to effectively prioritize, organize, identify, and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

· Working knowledge of integrated business systems and procedures, including Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent follow-through on all projects.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

· Experience in domestic and offshore procurement desired.

· Purchasing experience in a technical manufacturing environment is desired.

· The Buyer is required to interact effectively with personnel in all departments within the company and with suppliers.
