CAD Drafter utilizes computer-aided design (CAD) software and other techniques, standards, and tools to prepare technical drawings. Prepares computer-aided design (CAD) drafts, drawings, and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, blueprints, and sketches. Being a CAD Drafter maintains deadlines, goals, and production standards set by the department. Coordinates and consults with engineers or designers to complete projects. Additionally, CAD Drafter transforms initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software. Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The CAD Drafter work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a CAD Drafter typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. This associate needs have experience in AutoCad or other Cad based program and be able to read details of Casework (Commercial term for Cabinets) and Millwork for price RFQ . This person should also be able to read blue prints/plans . Meet with contractors and /or Architects/designer to discuss scope of job, progress ,and changes. This associate will be a professional team player with a great attitude and a appetite for professionalism and perfection .Compensation will be determined on ability. Will be open to training the right candidate . This is a very good importunity for the right person. A Percentage of job would be an additional pay to quote,and follow job through to delivery.
