CAD Drafter jobs in Oregon

Great opportunity for a CAD drafter/ CAM programmer to produce shop fabrication drawings. This position requires the use of AutoCAD and MasterCam software programs. (may be willing to train on MasterCam)

Volt is immediately hiring a CAD drafter/ CAM programmer in Portland OR.

As a CAD drafter/ CAM programmer you will:

• Produce shop fabrication drawings for custom fixtures/cabinets, millwork, retail architectural casework products

This is a full-time, opportunity.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Must have experience with AutoCAD software.
• Experience with MasterCam software writing code for CNC machinery.
• Ability to work from Architectural and ID blueprints or renderings to envision and generate accurate buildable shop fabrication drawings.
• Able to utilize software shortcut features and efficiencies.
• Knowledge of architectural woodworking/architectural detailing.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced high production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as communicate with team effectively.
• Proficient with Microsoft office. Other skills/experience desired but not essential:

Pay rate: $25-$30 per hour

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
