CAD Drafter jobs in Oakland, CA

• Produce preliminary base maps, to include: interpretation  and identification of wet and dry utilities, profiles, details, elevations, coordinates, exhibits, and vicinity maps
• Understanding of public right-of-ways, private easements, underground and aerial utilities
• General knowledge and familiarity of underground utilities, civil and mechanical engineering practices, and basic survey field processes
• Perform assigned responsibilities with moderate supervision
• Adhere to drafting standards
• Ability to work independently and stay on task
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Detail oriented and an attention to quality
• Good communication skills

• Proficiency using AutoCAD drafting software
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to meet client deadlines
• Organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related) is a plus.

• Frequently utilization of computer to create CAD drawings
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 10 pounds
