CAD Drafter jobs in Olympia, WA

Job Summary:

RWD is creating memorable public places that make big impacts for recreation in our communities. We offer a full-time position for an AutoCAD draftsperson or landscape designer with 1-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and will boldly jump into design and drafting for a variety of projects from master planning, graphics, concept development, and construction documentation.

• Educaton Requirements: Applicants shall have at least one of the following credentials:
• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited university .
• Associate degree in architecture, engineering, or computer-aided drafting.
• Certificate in computer-aided drafting from a community or technical college.
• Autodesk Certified Professional/User in AutoCAD for design and drafting.

Required Skills:

• Strong CAD drafting skills and experience drafting construction documents.
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Favorable Skills:

• Experience with Civil-3D, Land FX, and Bluebeam
• 1-5 years' experience in a Landscape Architecture, Engineering, Surveying or Architecture office
• Experience in design development.
• Graphic skills utilizing SketchUP, rendering software, LIlustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
