Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Surveying Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed plats for land surveying projects. The drafter will work closely with surveyors, engineers, and other team members to ensure that surveys are accurate and meet all requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and experience with land surveying projects.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed plats for land surveying projects

• Research land records, historical surveys, deeds, and legal descriptions

• Interpret and process field data based on coding systems and field notes

• Work closely with surveyors, engineers, and other team members to meet established requirements

• Review plats for accuracy and completeness

• Prepare plats for submission to surveyors, engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies

• Assist with drafting and design tasks as needed

• Ensure documents conform to company standards and branding requirements

• Meet deadlines and process revisions in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in drafting or related field

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software

• Knowledge of land surveying principles and practices

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on land surveying projects

• Familiarity with GIS software
