Location: Lebanon, OR (Relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required)

Schedule: Monday-Friday (This is not a remote-work position)

Position Summary:
ENTEK is seeking an Electrical Drafter to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing company. The successful candidate will have wide ranging skills and experience spanning high voltage, high precision mixed signal, Low voltage, and embedded system design and development. The role will involve circuit design, schematic capture, and layout management. Designs are expected to follow current best practices for DFM, and reliability/quality (including adherence to relevant safety/regulatory/certification requirements). This position reports to the Controls Engineering Manager with a dotted line to the Controls Supervisors and Supervising electrician for technical assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Specifies and lists all electrical parts needed for purchasing to complete assigned work.
• Recognizes and corrects deficiencies in electrical drawings.
• Work with the shop on Layout and the build of small to large sized electrical panels.
• Team with mechanical and controls for optimum build criteria during design.
• Reads and understands electrical schematics and PLC ladder-logic listings.

Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate degree
• OR four to ten years related experience and/or training
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Critical Knowledge/Professional and Personal Capabilities

• AutoCAD electrical, schematic / circuit design
• Must be familiar with AC and DC drives, PLC-based control systems and instrumentation.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, supplier data sheets, and production documents. Ability to effectively present information to Operations Team, Management Team, customers, and suppliers.

Salary Range: $23-$31 per hour
