Prepares computer-aided design (CAD) drafts, drawings, and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, blueprints, and sketches. Being a CAD Drafter maintains deadlines, goals, and production standards set by the department. Coordinates and consults with engineers or designers to complete projects. Additionally, CAD Drafter transforms initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software. Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The CAD Drafter work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a CAD Drafter typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Survey CAD Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing construction staking points, preparing field-to-finish CAD drawings, and completing various types of surveys such as Topographic, Alta, and Boundary Surveys. Other responsibilities include conducting As-built surveys, Boundary Reconfiguration, constructing legal descriptions, and researching plats and boundaries. This role requires clear communication with field crews, engineers, and project managers, and the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Our office follows a standard work schedule from 7:30 AM - 5 PM. We cultivate a laid-back environment where our team of 8 can collaborate effectively. The position is full-time, with 40 hours per week expected during normal business hours. Our office is conveniently located in the low country just outside of Hilton Head Island, SC, only thirty minutes from Savannah. We pride ourselves on our flexible work environment. The successful candidate will report directly to the CAD manager.
