Architectural Designer/Associate

Job description:

Goldstone Architecture is a small, growing full-services architectural firm in Bennington Vermont. We serve a regional market in Vermont and nearby New York and Massachusetts.

We are actively seeking a full-time associate to become a member of our architectural team.

Our work includes multi- and single-family residential, commercial, institutional, and not-for-profit clients.

Responsibilities may include:

• Hand and Computer Drafting utilizing AutoCAD Architecture, Sketchup and Revit

• Design - Concept through Construction Documents

• Assisting with document preparation for marketing and project development

• Managing architectural projects including client communication

• Coordinating with engineering and design consultants

• Writing architectural specifications

• Assistance with Construction Administration

• Computer modeling and rendering

• Assistance with occasional clerical and office management duties as needed

Qualifications:

Associates, bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, architectural engineering, building technology,

or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience

Salary: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• Revit: 2 years (Prefered)

• AutoCad: 3 years (Required)

• Sketchup: 2 years (Preferred)

Schedule:

Eight Hour daily shift, Monday to Friday
