CAT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and answers patient questions. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures. Being a CAT Scan Technologist performs obstetric and gynecological scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, CAT Scan Technologist requires completion of radiologic technology training and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. CAT Scan Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. As a Cat Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a wide variety of clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and trimming
- Provide nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing as needed
- Assess the condition of their coats and skin and recommend appropriate grooming techniques
- Handle them with care and compassion during the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the grooming area
- Communicate with their owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences along with updating business owner
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from their owners
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cat Groomer or in a related role
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of cats
- Ability to handle them with patience, care, and compassion
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and business owner
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (e.g., lifting product, tables, and portable tubs)
- Familiarity with basic veterinary procedures is a plus
- Certification or training in cat grooming is desirable
