CAT Scan Technologist jobs in Richmond, VA
CAT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and answers patient questions. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures. Being a CAT Scan Technologist performs obstetric and gynecological scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, CAT Scan Technologist requires completion of radiologic technology training and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. CAT Scan Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are seeking a microbiologist to join our Quality Lab team in our Troy, VA location. This is an excellent role to grow within a lab career. BIO-CAT is an premier enzyme production and blending company with over 30 years of experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform microanalysis on incoming raw materials, blended products and samples
- Data entry of results
- Assisting with testing, prep and glassware maintenance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of an Associates degree in: Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology
- Attention to detail is a must.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous lab experience a plus, but not required.
