Additionally, CRM Application Administrator may require either the Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The CRM Application Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    80% Lead the development, revision, oversight, organization and management of policy applications and related forms for all products and all lines of business for Assurity and affiliated companies, which includes:

    • Creating and revising applications, enrollment forms and other supplemental forms and documents in preparation for filing.
    • Ensuring that all applications and related forms are in compliance with state laws and requirements prior to filing.
    • Supporting the Policy Filing and Operational Compliance team with revisions to forms in response to state objections and any documents needed to complete regulatory filings.
    • Creating, testing, and implementing new and revised applications, enrollment forms and other supplemental forms in appropriate software systems, including accurately coding state specific questions in the automated underwriting system (MRAS) and performing software functions from test to production in coordination with external vendors as needed.
    • Providing technical support to IT, New Business and Underwriting partners including troubleshooting and testing on various platforms for application packages and electronic application processes.
    • Creating production support tickets for issues with electronic application platforms and coordinating with IT and Underwriting to resolve issues.
    • Creating and managing New Business forms matrices for all products by state for use by other departments.
    • Ensuring that applications and related forms are accurate and current, packaged appropriately, and made available to serve all uses and access points, including both internal and external platforms, third-party integrators, and distributors.
    • Actively managing the roll out of approved forms by coordinating and ensuring appropriate and effective communication with all impacted business areas to ensure compliance, accuracy and successful implementation based on the projected launch date set by the Director of Product Development.
    • Creating customized applications and participant enrollment forms upon request for Worksite, demonstrating critical thinking to ensure proper forms are utilized and only approved products and processes are being offered during enrollments; and
    • Responding to assigned compliance CODE tasks to create or revise forms based on state mandates and ensuring the timely implementation of such forms in all formats (e.g., paper, electronic, etc.) and on all platforms. 

     

    10% Responsible for oversight and management of departmental forms for Assurity and affiliated companies, which includes:

    • Providing ongoing maintenance of the form numbering system for departmental forms, assigning form numbers to new and revised forms, and providing form numbers to others as requested.
    • Creating and revising company forms in all formats needed to support multiple means of fulfillment, signature, and customer interaction.
    • Obtaining appropriate sign off from all impacted parties when revisions are made. 
    • Coordinating the placement of departmental forms on Assurity websites. 
    • Ensuring that all departmental forms are in line with Assurity’s “One Look One Feel” established guidelines.
    • Ensuring that the correct, most current departmental forms are available as needed or upon request of associates; and
    • Assisting with the development of new departmental forms.

    10% Perform other functions, which includes:

    • Assisting as needed within the customer connections department.
    • Leading projects related to forms updates.
    • assisting Manager, Director, or other Product Development associates with compliance projects.
    • Working on departmental or special projects; and
    • Completing other duties as assigned.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    • Four plus years of experience in business or related field required.
    • Insurance industry experience helpful.
    • Self-starter with high level of personal initiative and accountability required.
    • Decision-making, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
    • High accuracy and attention to detail required.
    • Strong proofreading and copy-editing skills required.
    • Strong proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and PDF software required.
    • Strong computer and technical skills required.
    • Ability to lead and manage projects.
    • Ability to organize/prioritize a wide variety of information and meet deadlines.
    • Professional oral and written communication skills.
    • Negotiation and conflict management skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and work independently. 
    • Life and health insurance background helpful.

     EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in business related field required. Equivalent work experience (4 years) may be considered.
    • LOMA designations helpful (ALMI required within 18 months of hire). Other industry certifications strongly encouraged.

    PHYSICAL AND WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

    • May require work in excess of 40 hours a week in order to complete functions of position.
    • Following daily work schedules for appropriate coverage.
