CACI is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared system administrator to join our team to support our customer’s transformation from their on-premises information system into a resilient hybrid cloud architecture by taking advantage of best-in-class services from both public and private cloud technology to create a durable, highly available, and low latency enterprise system. As an application administrator, you have the opportunity to use Agile project management and a DevSecOps framework to support our customer by planning, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining critical applications. Furthermore, you will gain experience from using commercial cloud technologies from AWS and Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes and containerization, Infrastructure-as-Code, Software Defined Networking, Configuration-as-Code, and a host of other technologies as we innovate and integrate this tech into the cutting-edge system of the future. Consequently, there is growth potential within our organization, as we migrate to cloud architectures and evolve our organization to support our customer’s information system through this transformation.
More About the Role:
Monitor performance and security of cloud-hosted applications.
Respond to performance and security events by documenting, analyzing, and resolving events according to standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with cloud engineers to deploy and release applications into unclassified and classified environments.
Aggregate performance and security metrics and provide insight to leadership to support decision making.
Respond to service outages through identification and restoration of services or escalation of incidents into the problem management process.
Review application documentation for quality and suggest changes as needed.
Create technical procedures for recurring tasks and current work arounds.
Collaborate with information assurance personnel to implement security controls and respond to security incidents.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or related field; additional 6 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.
0 - 5 years of relevant work experience.
CompTIA Cloud or a cloud certification from AWS, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, or IBM.
Must have Security certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience working on Distributed Common Ground System (preferably AF DCGS) or other intelligence community information systems.
Experience with Agile project management and DevSecOps practices.
Experience performing system administration in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS SysOps Administrator Associate certification.
