 Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Security Sales Specialist to join our team. The candidate should be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, an inquisitive mind, and a team player.  A track record of successful selling experience and familiarity with the Cybersecurity marketplace is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Qualify deals in person/on the phone/first calls with a deal qualification sheet in NYC
• Build relationships with some of the leading security services and product solution providers in the marketplace
• Develop meaningful relationships with the CDI direct outside and inside sales representatives towards building trust and loyalty
• Must be available to work in our CDI office with dedicated outside sales representatives
• Available for light travel
• Make cold calls daily and send introduction emails to prospective clients
• Record activity notes and opportunities in the CRM/list service system
• Update status reports and submit them timely as required
• Attend tradeshows (vendors, user sessions, etc.) and group sales functions as required
• Strong phone presence and high-volume dialing experience
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments as directed
• Become a subject matter expert on your specific portfolio of offerings via internal and external training
• Work closely with CDI Marketing to leverage social platforms for demand generation
• Leverage user lists, user groups, social meet-ups, etc.
