Brief Summary of Job Description
This position provides critical support for the Office of Graduate Studies and Academic Innovation that is needed for leaders to make strategic decisions related to graduate and online student recruitment and retention, whether through general data reporting, CRM projects, or other initiatives that support the strategic enrollment management efforts of the Office.
Under direction of the Academic Outreach and Marketing Specialist, this position will work in the university’s CRM and other data management systems, completing projects such as reports, dashboards, lead generation forms, email campaigns, enrollment projections, marketing results, and more as they relate to graduate and online student enrollment initiatives.
This position will work as a liaison for the Office of Graduate Studies and Academic Innovation with UNK’s Enrollment Strategies & Insights team, and occasionally OneIT and campus ITS personnel.
These projects may include creating and maintaining reports, forms, dashboards, and more within UNK’s CRM (Salesforce / TargetX) and other systems, such as PeopleSoft or the graduate application system, in order to support the strategic enrollment management of UNK’s graduate and online student populations.
2-Assist with email creation and campaign deployment of CRM communication projects designed to grow and maintain enrollment of online undergraduate and graduate students, which may include email design, quality testing, and assisting in the execution of email sends.
3-Serve as a member of the Office of Graduate Studies and Academic Innovation’s Academic Outreach team, supporting in the process of data-driven decision-making for marketing, recruitment, and retention projects.
4-Maintain a positive relationship and work closely with UNK’s Enrollment Strategies & Insights Team, promoting proactive communication between the Office of Graduate Studies & Academic Innovation and UNK’s Enrollment Strategies & Insights Team, supporting the team in execution of projects related to graduate and online.
At times, may also serve as a liaison between the Office and other entities such as OneIT and campus ITS. Required Qualifications 1-Bachelor’s degree in communication, information technology, business, marketing, or related field.
2-Experience working with data.
3-Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work with a variety of information systems.
4-Effective communication and listening skills, ability to work independently, in a team, and with precision. Preferred Qualifications 1-Experience working in higher education.
2-Experience working with Salesforce / TargetX, Peoplesoft, or similar data systems.
3-Experience developing and carrying out successful relationship management plans and programs, including setting, tracking, and reporting marketing metrics.
