    In this role, it is essential for you to be a vital partner with the targeted end user community, with security system integrators, security/risk consultants, Electronic Access Control (EAC) OEM channel partners, wholesalers and related channel distributors. You will have the freedom to navigate your path to bring incremental value to the local Door Security Solutions team in achieving success together in the market. A primary goal will be to develop and own positive, sustaining relationships with key influencers in the security solutions segment, and to create ASSA ABLOY brand solutions demand through education, facilitation, and promotion of ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions, specifically in the electronic solutions segment. You can expect to be part of diverse and talented local and national teams, with experienced colleagues dedicated to mutual support and success.

    Key areas you will contribute in this role include:
    • Increase ASSA ABLOY brand market presence and sales by providing end user influencers, EAC OEM partners, security system integrators, security professionals and related ASSA ABLOY channel partners’ sales, marketing and solutions application support, pricing guidance, new solutions data & related product enhancements for the Security Continuum suite of ASSA ABLOY EAC solutions.
    • Support end user site surveys, alongside the partner community where applicable to effectively apply ASSA ABLOY solutions to the customer need.
    • Communicate and collaborate closely and transparently with ASSA ABLOY’s local Door Security Solutions (DSS) team, as your “internal” customer.
    • Record all sales and channel activities in ASSA ABLOY’s CRM tools as required.

    What you will be doing

    You will actively call on, educate, provide sales support and build ASSA ABLOY’s business relationship with the targeted end user community, including strategic EAC influencers, security systems integrators, security professionals and related channel partners such as security/risk consultants, systems specifiers, and EAC OEM access control partners who utilize and/or buy and sell EAC solutions, products and programs. Discover, develop, manage and grow sales of ASSA ABLOY brand products and services with and through the partner community with a hyper-focus on ASSA ABLOY electro-mechanical innovations, offerings and solutions across the Security Continuum portfolio.

    What we are looking for

    You are a self-motivated, well-organized individual with a passion for teamwork and collaboration, as well as developing and closing complex security technology solutions across all vertical market applications. You have extensive experience navigating multi-channel delivery strategies, and are known for your professional follow-up habits - driven to satisfy the client's needs to deliver at and above expectations. You’re a strong communicator, a confident technology and sales presenter, an active listener, and a solutions negotiator. Your background includes a proven track record of developing and closing complex security technology solutions sales and access control within the security management segment specifically. College/University degree (preferred), High School diploma/GED required. You can read and comprehend security solutions wiring diagrams and have familiarity with architectural and mechanical drawings specific to secure electronic openings. You are a member of American Society of Industrial Security, International (ASIS) and/or eligible and qualified for ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification. You have the ability to travel upon request within the assigned DSS territory and able to effectively perform your responsibilities in a home office environment. You must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for in-person sale presentations.
