    Blue Cliff College is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Director. The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Director is responsible for all aspects of the program, including recruitment, training, and oversite of program faculty, curriculum, and program outcomes. Additionally, the program director is responsible for maintaining program accreditation requirements, continuous review of program effectiveness, ongoing development and serving as a liaison to the local healthcare community.

    JOB DUTIES

    • Provides competency-based education which aligns with the College model of curricula and is in compliance with state, institutional, and program standards.
    • Designs and delivers excellence of class instruction through the development of instructional plans to meet course competencies, the development of activities which support lesson objectives, and delivers the instruction as approved.
    • Delivers excellence in learning-centered instruction by establishing a classroom environment conducive to learning and student involvement as well as effectively planning and preparing for classes and student success.
    • Provides ongoing feedback to students, creating and implementing remediation plans to provide opportunities for improvement as applicable.
    • Manages the learning environment through keeping accurate records, taking attendance, submitting grades, and other reports on time, and enforcing school/campus academic and attendance policies.
    • Facilitate and attend faculty, departmental, and school-wide meetings, graduations, and advisory board meetings as needed.
    • Relates professional/life/industry experience to learning by the continuation of professional/technical skills development, the introduction of industry perspective into courses, and the active awareness of professional/industry trends and opportunities.
    • Other duties, as assigned.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum, Associates Degree (Required).
    • 3 years experience (Required)
    • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (Required). Preferably in abdomen, OB/GYN and vascular.
    • Ability to commute or relocate to Gulfport, MS (Required).

    COMPENSATION

    In the spirit of pay transparency, we can share that the pay range for this position is $80,000-90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
