Job Summary: The primary function of the Franklin Food Bank Program Director is to oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of all programs. This includes regular collaboration with staff, volunteers, and partners. Accountabilities

Program Responsibilities:

• Hire, supervise, evaluate, and develop the client services team
• Design new and dynamic program models to meet the growing needs of the community
• Evaluate our program impact and efficacy
• Develop, manage, and improve systems and procedures for client intake, client support, and food distribution
• Engage with local community stakeholders to explore needs and assets for future partnerships
• Identify and implement prof. development workshops, trainings, and resources for staff
• Align and integrate organization hallmarks and guardrails in all program offerings
• Incorporate regular, data-informed program adjustments and enhancements
• Design and facilitate annual client feedback loops
• Manage programs within allocated budget and in compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Maintain a safe work environment for staff, volunteers, clients, and others visiting or engaging with organization programs
• Prepare and present an annual budget recommendation for the Program dept.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Co-design and execute volunteer orientations, trainings, and workshops
• Contribute to monthly and adhoc volunteer communications
• Identify and implement prof. development workshops, trainings, and resources for volunteers
• Design and co-facilitate annual volunteer feedback loops
• Co-develop new volunteer recruitment efforts via in person, traditional print, and social media outlets
• Oversee weekly volunteer scheduling
• Design and execute volunteer appreciation activities

Competency Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or demonstration of significant on-the-job, relevant experience)
• 3-5 years management experience in program and/or project design, implementation, and evaluation
• Demonstrates strong data reporting and analysis abilities
• 3 years working in non-profit organization a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
• Demonstrates excellent written and oral communications skills
• Familiarity with CRM software programs
• Spanish, in addition to English, a plus

HOURS/SCHEDULE/COMPENSATION:

• Full-time, onsite position (some Saturdays)
• $60,000 - $70,000 annually

• Weekends as needed
