Marketing Manager, Enterprise – Job Description
The Senior Campaign Manager / Marketing Manager of Enterprise Marketing is responsible for creating multichannel campaign plans strategically designed to engage and retain an audience/audiences interested in Bio-Techne products and associated technical applications. The incumbent brings deep expertise as a highly capable strategic planner and can guide, mentor, and drive continuous improvement and planning enhancements with business unit partners.
The position requires the ability to translate business KPIs into marketing strategies and promotional campaigns that achieve those objectives, in partnership with internal product SMEs. Upon plan completion, the Senior Campaign Manager will work with an internal agency to create, execute, and monitor the performance of campaigns, adjusting as needed to achieve plan goals.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product marketing leaders to understand their annual business KPIs, initiatives and marketing strategies. Develop an annual promotional campaign plan and individual campaign briefs to support and achieve business unit goals.
- Drive messaging strategy conversations with business unit partners, leading framework development and channel application
- Craft compelling and insightful campaign brief documents to ensure project alignment with team members (creative, sales, product, regional marketing, digital and automation) and stakeholders on objectives and success metrics.
- Plan and manage marketing campaign budget related to external advertising channels such as 3rd party vendors and social platforms. Partner with assigned digital specialist on additional digital channel spend.
- Contribute to reinforcing Bio-Techne’s cultural values of Empowerment, Passion, Innovation and Collaboration.
Qualifications
Qualifications (Senior Campaign Manager)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
- 5 years of marketing-related experience, in positions of increasing responsibility
- 5 years of marketing plan and campaign development experience, with demonstrated success in cultivating strategy from goals and insights, designing objectives for key audience engagement and selecting channels for messaging that deliver results.
- Demonstrated experience bringing innovative and creative ideas on how to best reach target audiences.
- Provides guidance to other team members on strategy, tactical optimization, and process.
- Ability to use data to provide insights into customer engagement and channel effectiveness.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders who are globally dispersed and build good working relationships.
- Adaptable to change and able to pivot to accommodate changes in the market and business landscape.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to meet tight deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation skills, experience preparing and delivering talks, and communicating effectively to diverse audiences.
- Experience working with various marketing tools required, including but not limited to:
- Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably Drupal.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Email Marketing systems, preferably Marketo.
- Metrics and data visualization tools, preferably Domo.
- SEO tools, preferably Google Analytics.
- Marketing Work Management systems, preferably Monday.com.
Qualifications (Marketing Manager)

- Experience with a life sciences company preferred.
- 8 – 10 years of marketing-related experience, in positions of increasing responsibility
