Position Summary:
The Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for managing the success of a variety of marketing communications projects so that goals are accomplished on schedule, within budget, and with quality results.
Types of projects may include creating and launching new content across key marketing channels (such as direct mail, email, social, print, web, video, events), developing sales and marketing tools, and other forms of internal (associate) and external (customer) communications. This role ensures that all deliverables are on brand and position Penske as a best-in-class organization
This role requires the ability to understand customer needs, business objectives and industrytrends, and to translate those insights into successful strategies that engage audiences todrive awareness and lead generation. The role requires the ability to build relationships, work collaboratively with teams and interact with internal subject matter experts within Marketing, the business at large, marketing/advertising vendors, and customers (when applicable).
Some typical duties and responsibilities may include:
• Campaign planning – identify business/sales goals and target audiences to shape messaging to achieve marketing goals/strategies/tactics
• Project management - Facilitate projects and ensure deliverables are on schedule and within budget
• Content development – work collaboratively to develop high-quality content for all stages of the buyer’s journey
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead effective meetings
• Present project updates and deliverables to various audiences as needed
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
• 5 years marketing experience or equivalent combination of marketing communications experience
• Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred
• Requires excellent written and verbal communications
• Ability to effectively work on multiple projects under tight deadlines, maintaining productivity and cost effectiveness through project completion
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional teams including customers, subject matter experts and vendors
• Strong project management skills required
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with B2B marketing tactics and strategies including lead generation and sales enablement
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and ABM a plus.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
