Cabinetmaker and Bench Carpenter jobs in Poughkeepsie, NY

Nurzia Construction Corporation has an immediate opening for a carpenter. Candidate must provide own vehicle and tools and be able to pass drug and criminal background checks. Work assignments will include but are not limited to:

• General carpentry including minimal demo and light framing
• Decking
• Finish carpentry including crown moldings
• Cabinet installs
• Floating floors
• Drop ceilings

Experience

• Must be able to read plans
• Must be able to understand structural wood framing; metal framing experience a plus
• Minimum 10 years in general construction
• Qualified candidate must be able to relate well to residential customers, represent the company in a professional manner and leave all job sites clean at the end of each day.
