Cafeteria Manager manages an on site company cafeteria. Oversees operations including ordering, inventory, meal planning, food preparation, and service. Being a Cafeteria Manager ensures operations are in compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations. Manages and trains cafeteria staff. Additionally, Cafeteria Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Cafeteria Manager supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.     • Ability to stand, stoop, reach and bend; mobility of arms to reach, dexterity of hands to grasp and manipulate large and small objects.
    • Work with caustic and non-caustic chemicals.
    • Ability to work with frequent interruption and to supervise a variety of tasks.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • The employee may be required to work around loud noise.
    • Ability to work in an inside environment.
    • Ability to work in a hot environment.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma, completion of GED or equivalent courses
    • Food Service Experience preferred
