Responsible and accountable for the operations of the Cage/Vault during the assigned shift. Assists in training new Team Members as assigned, prepares reports, oversees Title 31 enforcement and reporting activities, and recommends changes in Cage/Vault procedures as needed.
• Responds to guest inquires and concerns. • Interfaces with other departments as necessary, in a positive and professional manner. • Supervises activity and maintains security and accountability of company funds located in the Cage/Vault during a shift. • Assists in training new Team Members as assigned.• Maintains an orderly and positive working environment. • Participates in the performance evaluations of Team Members. • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience is preferred.• Two years of experience in casino Cage/Vault operations preferred.• Previous experience in hospitality and/or sales.• Ability to successfully pass a basic math assessment.• Demonstrated ability to perform cash handling operations using units of American money.• Basic knowledge of business and accounting systems and methods.• Basic knowledge of applicable law, regulations, rules, procedures, and administration is required.• Basic proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office and database applications, e-mail and Internet. • Basic proficiency in 10-key and other office equipment.• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.• Native American hiring preference applies.
