Cage Clerk - Casino jobs in Fresno, CA

Purpose of Position:

Perform cash and cash-equivalent transactions. Assist in the tracking of cash movement as well as the person(s) conducting the transaction(s). 

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Process cash redemptions, cash-equivalents, exchanges, cash-access transactions, jackpot payouts, Table Games fills and credits, Voucher Redemption Terminal drops, fills and maintenance.

• Issue and drop employee banks.

• Control, safeguard, reconcile, verify and report assigned Cage inventory and assets.

• Adhere to governmental regulations, Casino-wide and Cage policies, procedures and processes.

• Sell tickets, gift certificates, etc., as required.

• Maintain safety and cleanliness of assigned areas and alert management of any hazards throughout the Cage and the Casino.

• Provide prompt, courteous guest service to both internal and external guests at all times, following guest service standards.

• Provide information to guests regarding Casino locations, events, promotions, activities and offerings.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.

• Minimum one (1) year of cash handling experience required. Bank Teller experience preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal communication, guest service, attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
