Job Purpose/Summary
The Metrology/Calibration Technician will set up, calibrate and test all functionality on a variety of Test and Measure Equipment
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate degree in technology field or relevant field preferred
High School Diploma/GED/Technical School Diploma with experience or training in Calibration or Metrology will be considered
Experience: Working knowledge with and ability to perform calibration, functionality testing and repair on various Test and Measure Equipment
Certifications helpful, not required are as follows:
· Coordinate Metrology Society's (CMS) Level One and Level Two
· ASQ's ISO/IEC 17025 Compliance certification.
· Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)
· Master Certified Electronics Technician (CETma)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
· Ability to Document Accurately
· Ability to keep clean and organized work area
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office Programs
· High attention to detail
· Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50Ibs
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Testing and troubleshooting various test and measure equipment
· Repair and Calibrate various Test and Measure Equipment
· Develop, Implement and Document all testing procedures
· Request parts and tools needed to repair various Test and Measure Equipment
· Cleaning of Equipment required
· Auditing and Recording Equipment Information into our proprietary inventory management software
