Duties And Responsibilities

Tests and recalibrates DTS Data Acquisition and Sensor products using automated software procedures.

Masters several DTS software products essential to calibration, firmware updating, and troubleshooting.

Performs diagnostics and troubleshooting on data acquisition systems and components.

Ensures customer satisfaction with timely turnaround of re-calibrations and repair work.

Conforms and contributes to the DTS Michigan Quality Management System, including completion of calibration, service, and build reports.

Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent and previous (approximately 3 years) hands-on experience servicing electronic equipment is necessary. Associate degree in Electronics/Engineering is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency using electronic test equipment, such as lab-grade meters and power supplies is necessary.

Soldering experience of through hole and surface mount components, fine gauge wiring and high-density connectors is a plus.

Previous experience with data acquisition systems and knowledge of test and measurement industry a plus.

Demonstrated ability to appropriately address details, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work with other departments is necessary.

Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoftâ Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel is necessary.
