    Pay rate: $23.00 - $28.00 Based on experience
    Essential Job Functions:
    • Cleaning, minor repairs, calibrate and store gages
    • Document calibration process, methods and procedures, prepare reports, as required
    • Prepare all documentation applicable for various assignments
    • Maintain control and traceability related to gaging with internal customers as well as external vendors
    • Assist engineering with gaging issues when requested.
    • Assist manufacturing operators with tool and gage maintenance and performance issues.
    • Communication with Production, Tool Room and Manufacturing Engineering
    • Perform 5 s duties
    • Periodic performance of other duties as assigned
    • Assist/support operator gage training initiatives
    Qualifications:
    Education and Experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Demonstrated work experience with emphasis on quality and job knowledge.
    • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
    • Demonstrated experience working with precision measurement equipment
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Competence in mathematics.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
    • Self directed with the ability to organize multiple tasks and routines, results oriented
    • Excellent communications skills with the ability to deal well with customer demands
    • Basic proficiency with excel, word, and data base software
    Job related demands (i.e. physical, travel):
    • Flexibility to alter work schedule for timely completion of projects
    • Prioritization of multiple projects to meet operational goals
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues with tact and diplomacy
    • Good hand eye coordination
    • Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 lbs. without assistance and occasionally up to 50 lbs following company safe lifting protocol
    • Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
    • Ability to work in an environment with powdered metal, dust, noise, oils and chemicals
