Job Description

Scientific Calibration is currently hiring Pipette Service Technicians at its administrative headquarters in Cary, NC. The job consists of in-house and on-site work which includes travel around the United States. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

Responsibilities

• Test, clean, repair, reassemble, and calibrate pipettes to ensure they are conforming to manufacturer and industry standards
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations in-house and on-site.
• Properly document work
• Complete all related reports
• Complete Data Entry into our system

Qualifications

• Capacity to work independently and with others
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Must have a driver’s license
• Must be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, and email, and can learn to work within the custom database and software applications

Desired Characteristics

• Familiarity with ISO 17025.
• Understanding of FDA regulations
• Experience with calibration, service, or repair of other laboratory instrumentation.
• Education or background in life science, health science, or other related fields

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
