Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Operator for a company based in Columbus, MS. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for handling operator functions in a melt room and operate in the melt process of precious metals.
Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Shifts Vary with extreme flexibility
Operator Duties and Responsibilities- Lifting between 50-70lbs regularly
- Set-up, monitor and operate (including make adjustments) the continuous casting machines to very small tolerances, melt, and charge the furnaces etc.
- Physically inspect product before and after melting
- Work in a hot environment. (Though area is climate controlled)
- Communicate respectfully with co-workers and Supervisors
- Understand and follow written and oral instruction exactly and stay focused at all times
- Must be on time to work and focused and with an attention to detail while at work
- Able and committed to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
