Camera Operator operates cameras, broadcasting or video recording cameras, and equipment to photograph various subjects and subject material. May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Basic Function :
Sets up, runs, and monitors Cabler / Strander / Rework Line equipment used for the manufacture of fiber optic cable.

Minimum Qualifications Required :
Education & Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months of related experience and / or training preferred.
Essential Skills, Abilities & Knowledge : Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate a machine in a production environment.
Demonstrated ability to use tools and measuring devices properly. Ability to read and follow basic instructions and to understand and implement quality procedures.
Math and handwriting skills required and the ability to correctly complete all documentation. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Pays close attention to detail with the ability to complete assignments accurately and recognize and help resolve problems.
Ability to operate a forklift. Ability to operate a hoist.
Working Conditions : While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and climb stairs. Significant inspecting activities require manual dexterity using hands to finger, handle or feel.
The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 lbs. This job requires sight sufficient for significant reading and computer usage.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision. This work also requires an individual with hearing sufficient for detecting alarms and communication with coworkers.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.
